A team of specialists will help you select the ring that symbolises your love and personal style. The diamonds on offer are exceptional and it is no exaggeration to say that no other object will surpass their perfection while offering excellent investment value.

We have recently also introduced a specialised diamond-customisation service, which gives our clients full flexibility over the choice and mounts of their diamonds.

So, where do you start from? For most people buying a diamond can be an overwhelming experience, yet it needn’t be so. With some assistance from our team you’ll soon learn the ubiquitous ‘4 Cs’. These are:

1. Cut

The round brilliant cut diamond is by far the most popular. For a century diamond cutters have been using advanced techniques to optimize this diamond. This diamond offers more flexibility in terms of balancing cut, colour, and clarity grades while still getting the fire and brilliance you would typically expect.

2. Colour

Confusingly, the term ‘colour’ actually refers to a diamond’s lack of colour thus grading the whiteness of a diamond. A colour grade of D is the highest possible, while Z is the lowest.

Generally colour manifests itself in a diamond as a pale yellow which is why a diamond’s colour grade is based on its lack of colour. The less colour a diamond has, the higher its colour grade. After cut, colour is generally considered the second most important characteristic when selecting a diamond.

3. Clarity

Clarity is a measure of the number and size of the tiny imperfections that occur in almost all diamonds. Many of these imperfections are microscopic, and do not affect a diamond’s beauty in any discernible way. The grading process is very rigorous and the GIA method is the most commonly utilised process – click here, to learn about this grading system.

Frank Zampa Jewellery has always been committed to obtaining the highest quality diamonds – in grade F or higher and with VVS1 clarity or higher. Every diamond is individually inspected by our experts in a meticulous manner.

4. Carat

This is where size comes in. Carat is specifically a measure of a diamond’s weight. Because this measure may be hard to understand Frank Zampa Jewellery has developed a method to guide you through the choice of cut, colour and clarity prior to the analysis of the size (carat) of the diamond.

Indeed, to choose the best carat weight we assist you through the discussion of multiple factors including finger size, preferred ring setting, (classical setting or vintage), budget as well as solitaire or pave options

Last but not least, Frank Zampa Jewellery offers HRD, IGI and GIA certified diamonds. This presents you with an objective and independent certification of your diamond’s factors giving you peace of mind and confidence about your treasured purchase.

Frank Zampa Jewellery also offers a diamond and engagement ring upgrade service. Click here to read more about this option.
